Lou's Thrifty-Way is hands down the best grocer in Norfolk, Nebraska. They might not have every obscure item a larger store would carry, but they are five star for:

1. produce - fresher and less expensive than competitors. The best selection of produce in town. If it's in season it's the best to be found.

2. Meat - leaner, well stocked, smells like what it is supposed to smell like. Always priced right with the best sales in town.

3. Dairy - butter, eggs and cheese are fresh and priced lower than the *other stores.

Center aisles - Great great sales on staple items. Never out-of-date and always well stocked. Can't find it at *W****** or *H**** ---Lou's plans inventory stocks so well they have never been out of an item I needed that they normally carry. As a matter of fact...it is only a few Asian sauce varieties I can't get there.

Clean with very helpful staff that you can always find to assist you!

I love this grocer and have shopped here for over 20 years.
