If there was an option for negative stars, that's what I would have chosen. 1) He was texting and checking his phone the entire time driving and entering into the other lanes. Other drivers were honking at us due to this. 2) Once we got to my destination, I handed him my card and he advised he didn't take cards! He said I should have told him that I didn't have cash when I entered into his cab! I told him that he should have told me that cards weren't accepted and that it was cash only. Since I didn't have cash, I asked him if he took checks. He was very hesitant, but he didn't have any other options...so that leads me to....3) When I got my check book to write a check to East Side Cab, he told me that I can't write it to ESC and that it needs to go to him. I told him that the transaction didn't sound legitimate and he told me he'd give me a receipt. He basically said "that's how it goes...you don't pay them...you pay me." I still don't understand, but whatever. so much more to write..

Cab smelled like stale cigarettes. Cab driver had to be given directions from point A to B on a2.5 trip from airport. Did not have credit card machine like advertised on side of cab. Did not help unload luggage from cab.
