one morning I went to depaul and told them I had a migraine associated with a cracked tooth infection, and my wisdom tooth was hurting so badd that the pain shot up from my kneck to my temple. I told them the dentist will be closed till jan 6, and needed something for the pain, the doctor ignored me and didnt even try to examine me and kept saying im not a dentist. the doc and the nurse treated me like a drug addict, they were nasty, degrading, and showed no signs of compassion at all. they gave me 6-5mg norcos, and penicilin, and when I asked for ibuprofen because they work better than tylenol he still ignored me. someone needs to shut that facility down. for now on I will go to sentara a place were they care and give you the best treatment there is, I hate depaul medical especially the e.r.

My mohter has been going to this center for years because she does not have medical insurance. Everytime I take her there the intake nurses are very nasty and treat her like dirt. I feel because they in counter some "poor" people they feel they have the right to treat them like dirt. One time I took my moter in because she was really sick and I did not know what to do, the intake nurse told her she could not see a doctor and basicaly ignored her. My siblings and I cried and took her home. The next she had to be rushed to the hospital because her sugar level was off the chart, she stayed in there for over a week. On yesterday I took her in for her appointment at 5pm when all the doctors and nurse were ready to go home. My mothers is to sick to work and does not have any money she asked if she could pay at a later time and the doctor said no and she would have to come back. I told my mother I would pay for it and she told the nurse. The nurse said the doctor said she will have to come back. Form her telling the doctor my mother had no money and me stating i would pay for it, 4 minutes went by. Dr. Vij would not see her eventhough I was going to pay for it. So does my mother have to die in order to get proper service. I told my mother to go to a real doctor and get seen. Its sad that they treat pepole the way they do
