Provided by YP.comI needed a starter for my car, and needed it at the best price possible. There's an option I was told about with PepBoys website where I could order the part online and pick it up AND pay in store with a promo code. I received 25% off, and it was the best price in Norfolk, even after the core charge (which I'll get refunded back to me). I called and spoke with Alan who helped me with the part # I needed for the make and model, and he had it ready for me when I came. He and his other associates were friendly, another associate also ended up finding a bulb I needed and brought it to the register for me. Alan remembered my name when I came in, and they all treated my mother and I with respect, which is refreshing because females can be treated poorly in an automotive environment, but they were great. They all made conversation with me, offered assistance and I couldn't have asked for a smoother experience. I'm new to the area and had no issues finding them, sign was large and easy to locate from street, parking lot and store and associates were clean and presentable. I'll go back for any further needs (hopefully nothing major anytime soon!).

Provided by YPmobileStay away. Took over 2 hrs for an inspection on a 1 yr old car. When I came in they told me that were doing 1 inspection at the moment. So dirty. Bathroom is worse than porta potty.

Provided by YP.comSTAY AWAY!!!!. Changed my oil and left it 1.5 quarts low. Luckily I noticed this before leaving. Unfortunately when I got home I noticed they left oil all over my leather seats and oil finger prints on my hood. HORRIBLE service.

Provided by YPmobileAppt for 10 am. At 11 am they informed me they didn't have the tires that I ordered online. At 1 pm they told me two more cars were still ahead of me before they would even start mine. Nevermind. Ill take my business elsewhere

Provided by YP.comCharged me for an oil & filter change they didn't do. This has been some time ago, and the service manager did refund my money without any questions when I came back inside after checking the dipstick. It was supposed to be done along with other work if they had time, so I could get the vehicle back that evening. Still, Buyer Beware. Many people probably would've just trusted them to do what they said they did. Then the old dirty oil and filter aren't protecting your engine very well anymore, and you pay the price. I don't really think their labor charges are any lower than a dealership, either. You pay more in labor time when they don't have the technical training and diagnostics to troubleshoot problems. You just save some money by getting aftermarket parts when available.
