i moved out of this apartment about 1 year ago.

there wasnt enough lighing in the apartment some rooms you had to add lamps cause there wasnt some rooms with any light fixtures. you had to keep the washer and dryer in a very small kitchen because the amartment wasnt built for a laundry room. i was pregnant and the ac broke and it was over 90 degress and took 2 days to fix because of them not wanting to do their jobs. water bill were crazy cause they would take the whole apartment section and split the bill ( 4 apartments to one builing) so you would pay for more water than you used.. always made me mad cause its hard saving money when you got to pay for other peoples water bill too. there is dog crap all over the place so dont walk in to grass. if you live there you have to have a parking sticker stuck on your window and if you dont ( like if you have friends over) your car will be towed, so none wants to come over to your house anymore unless they park on the street or if you get a parking pass before 5pm when the apartments close for the night, witch can be inconvent when you make plans after 5. my house got robbed while i was living there its not safe for a growing family or small childern. theres lots of military there so they know that you have a little money and will suck you dry. neighbors are loud and wont turn off their music till late at night. dogs are always barking and car systems constantly are bassing cause you live next to a highway.. and on top of that you hear loud jets and aircraft cause you are close to a military base.

i lived there for a year and it was hell. the parking situation was terrible. there was no parking available at all. New management took over and said the parking situation would inprove. but it didnt the only thing the new BLONDE headed land lady was doing is FLIRTING with male tenants!!!!! My vehicle was vandalized at gates of west bay on two separate occations and the land lady said she would NOT be able to do anything about it.....she said just call the police and make a report. There was trash and beer bottles everywhere. I complained about the trash numerous times and it wasnt taken care of till 2 weeks later. I would come home and walk past the same trash in the grassy area and bushes so i knew nothing was being done. There was dog poop everywhere and they had a very smelly garbage can area that was hardly ever cleaned out. They advertise washer and dryer units in the apartment magazines, problem is the washers and dryers are there but you cant use them cause they dont work. Good luck getting anything fixed, there is no maintainence person at the apartment. The maintanence man is located in virginia beach and takes about 2 hours to get to the problem. the office is always closed for example the sign on the door says "will be back at 1200pm" and you look at your clock hmmm its past 1200pm and nobody is there...............1pm 2pm 3pm nope nobody................................you call and get an answering machine and your messages are not returned..................what does that lady get paid to do...........these people do not care about their tenants and its a shame.............good thing im out of that hell hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
