rude shopping employee

I had a terrible experience at this store! I was looking at items in the front section of the store that was adorned with multiple 70% off signs. The signs simply read that final sales would be taken off at register. Upon finding two items I was interested in I noticed that they both had clearance stickers showing 50% off of original price. I took them to the register to see if they were priced as marked or if an additional 70% would be taken from that price, simply enough. The girl was very nice helpful and began scanning the price tags. It became apparent that something was wrong in the computer system. The items were comming up at higher prices then marked. At that time a second male cashier came to her assistance to try to make sence of the computer's issues. Everything was fine until a lady wearing a hat and coat stepped up to the register next to me to purchase some items. She turned to the cashiers that were helping me and asked them what the problem was. They began to explain it to her, which struck me as odd due to the fact that she appeared to be just another customer, but she interrupted them proceeded to tell them that those items were priced correctly, in a rather harsh/excited manner. I began to say chim in about the fact that the stickers showed a 50% discount not 70%, but before I could hardly spit a word out she was interrupting me as well. She proceeded to run over to the section and was yelling something along the lines of those items being exempt from the sale. She was shouting in a harsh manner and causing a scene. I looked back at the cashiers, who both had shocked looks on their faces, and I asked if she worked there. They said yes. Then I asked if she was a manager and they said no. During that time the lady was still rambling on/ shouting. I began to say something about the signs in the section also being above that particular shelf, but yet again I was harshly cut off by her shouting. I looked back at the girl cashier who lipped the words I'm sorry. At that point I was so embarrassed and frustrated by what was taking place. I've never been in a situation where an employee wouldn't let you get a word out. I ended up shouting, over the raving woman, that I really didn't need to shop there if that's how I was spoken to. I left the two items that I was simply inquiring about at the desk and placed a third item I had planned on purchasing on a near by shelf. I began to exit the store and the lady ran up to me and said there was no reason I had to leave and tried to reassure me that I could still buy the items. As if I was worried about having the ability to buy them. I asked her what her name was. She did not want to give it to me and began going on about the sale stuff. This time I interrupted her and asked her what her name was a second time. She reluctantly said it was Rebecca. I said Thank you and got the heck out of there, not purchasing a single item. I've never felt so harassed and embarrassed while shopping in my life. It probably doesn't sound that terrible, but I was so mortified frustrated that I just wanted to cry. All of the other employees and shoppers in the area were stopped and staring with open mouths. Unfortunately now I'm stuck with a gift card to shop there and after the whole horrifying ordeal I really don't ever want to set foot in there again. Just before all this, I had thought about registering for our wedding this comming year after seeing another couple doing so. Needless to say that wont be happening either.
