My advice, stay away, to avoid the Petco grooming center at all costs.!! Before taking my Bouvier (she has been shown at various dog shows and a number of groomers over the years) I called to the store. I asked if they were familiar with the breed and the cuts traditionally that signify the breed. Oh Yes they stated they did. Being a double coated long haired dog they require brushing regularly, which I do. Special attention to the beard since it can become tangled or matted due to eating and drinking. That usually does not take a little extra effort. Apparently it was to much for Petco however, because when I returned she looked like a clown. She had been shaved down to her pink skin. Everywhere!. Shaving her down was easier than brushing her out obviously. I thought something was wrong when they called that she was done in an hour and a half. Most groomers have her for about 4 hours. Then they had the gall to charge me $80++.. (sign on building said all cuts 15% off!) Never ever again!!!
