Provided by YP.comI took my daughter here and at first it seemed very normal. Then, the doctor walked in and he seemed baffled by my appearance. He asked if I was my daughter sister. I told him “no, I’m mom.” With a smile. He made a comment along the lines wow, you look young how old are you?... you lost my respect. Right. There. It’s rude and I deal with this, but it’s as of I get the vibe I’m less than?
Yes, I’m young but I’m not dumb. Also, shouldn’t have to feel like I need to prove it?
Oh well, if that was all I had to deal with I would have never wrote this review.
This next part is appalling and really makes me think they don’t care whatsoever. The doc left and said he wanted to give her a steroid. I’m not a huge fan but my little girl was suffering. He believed all she had was a virus, which very well could be true. So, I agreed.
A nurse (taller, blonde) was not the one who put us in the room. She bustled through the door and handed my daughter a medicine cup of liquid and then proceeded to leave? I said, “woah, woah, do not take that!” (To my daughter.)
I caught her before she left (walking out the door,) “what is this?!” She had that face of uhhh, and went out the door to go ask the doctor what it was.... Then brought back the entire bottle of medication to show me.
Mistake not telling the patient or the parent what it was HUGE MISTAKE. Not even knowing WHAT YOU ARE handing to a child even bigger mistake.
How incompetent. I was seriously baffled!!!!
I didn’t know it was the steroid, I thought he would prescribe her some?
I’ve worked at a clinic I know the right way. Leaving immediately after giving meds to a child and no explanation to the parent, never EVER OKAY.. It’s actually a way to be fired in some COMPETENT clinics.
I know this was long, but to all my moms out there avoid this place like the plague.
