Vanessa, My friend Joe died after a long battle of pancreatic cancer on January 13, 2016. I hope you will walk a mile in another's shoes before jumping to conclusion in a situation.

I highly recommend that you explore all other options before hiring this man to represent you in anything.



I am a woman's advocate by profession and accompanied my client to his office before her trial began last Monday, the 23rd. Joe had us waiting for 30 minutes before he spoke with us, leaving us only 10 minutes to get to the courthouse and settled in for trial.



As soon as we walked in to his office he immediately became irate. He screamed at my client and was very aggressive with her all before exclaiming that the nature of her case didn't require an attorney. As her advocate, I chimed in to speak about how it actually is necessary if the other party has an attorney that she would need one, too (as would be appropriate in any legal situation). He immediately started screaming at me, exclaiming that I knew nothing about law and that I wasn't experienced enough and to get out of his office. We all stood in there in complete shock. He then screamed again "I'm serious, I said get out!" and nudged me in the back with his hand.



In my years in advocacy work I have witnessed this level of un-professionalism. It was completely ridiculous the way he was acting and how he used his power and control to attempt to frighten us - only stressing out my client and her family further before her trial.



I have already begun the grievance process with the OK Bar Association. I hope that no one else has to witness such disrespect as my client and I did.
