Ray's was recommended to us. Most of our meats (brisket, sausage, ribs) and sides (green beans, pinto beans, fruit medley) at least met expectations for a barbecue place. But when I, sometimes known as a human garbage disposal, find a side (fried okra) inedible, I cannot in good conscience give a better rating. The okra tasted like it had been fried for hours, when the recipe called for minutes.

Best BBQ in town. Hands down. Don't let the Lindsey construction keep you from trying this place. You won't regret it.

Smells delicious when you walk in. The prices are a little more the expected but the food is good. I ate the chopped brisket dinner for $9.49 with delicious seasoned green beans and good fries. My husband got the regular pulled prok dinner for $8.99 with fries and potato salad. He didn't care for the potato salad though. For 2 people you will pay $22-$30.

They are super clean and the store has model management. Hands down BEST BBQ in Norman, or anywhere for that matter. Staff is really friendly and attentive.
