They sell spoiled fish that they try to wash off in a bleach solution. Well, at least that is my educated guess as the spoiled fish reeks of chlorine.

was calling around looking for whole belly clams, on a sunday, i called a place in warwick that had daily freash deliveries and was selling them for $17.99/lb. I was ok with that just didnt feel like driving to warwick (typical RI'er) so i called Fresh Catch, they told me they were out but that they were selling them for $35.99/lb!!!!! If that were the ACTUAL price, then to buy them off their prepared menu must be something insane like $90 for an order! WTF are these people thinking! I clarified my question thinking for sure he had mistaken me, and sure enough he had not. Thanks but NO THANKS!! EVER!! from no on i will plan better and only shop Wilfred's Seafood. They have never EVER done me wrong.

A TREMENDOUS "SHAME ON YOU" FOR BLATANTLY OVERPRICED SEAFOOD!

Their ad reads $6.99 per lb. For lobsters up to 5 pounds from 12-10 through 12-14. When my husband went there this morning he was told that the price was changed to $13.99 per pound. They wouldn't budge on the price even when the ad was shown to them. This is probably illegal. They ruined my birthday!!!

I have been there a few times after Ocean Fresh closed. I used to shop there every week when it was Ocean Fresh. Since the new ownership I have yet to buy something. It is so overpriced but I tried yet again on Valentine's Day and the prices for lobster were unheard of. There was a woman next to me that asked the clerk why it was so high when she was there a week ago and it was much less and the clerk just smirked and said "I don't know. It went up." Don't try and take advantage of customers. As a business owner myself, you would think you would try to get and keep customers, especially in this economy where businesses are closing left and right. I'll have to find another place for my seafood.
