I had a lovely tour with a professional young lady who was not in the marketing dept. After seeing a number of really nice places, was put off by the rundown look of the place but renovations are beginning. Sarah was great. Then i met Jamie. Looked sloppy, unprofessional and told me that cost was double for 2 people, not the usual additional fee for other supportive care facilities (which charge $800-1000 for the second person). She was snotty when I asked if she was sure about that because based on my experiences it made no sense. I said thank you and left. Then I received a call from "Joseph" who called to ask my experience. When i relayed my good experience w/Sarah but my bad 30 second experience w/Jamie, i was met with such defensiveness. Why call if you don't want the truth? The good things Sara told me, like the people love it there, may be true but hard to believe with these 2 characters' attititudes.

if ALL you fellow reviewers feel in such a way about your parents well being (sarcasticly speaking), then why not TAKE THEM INTO YOUR OWN HOUSEHOLDS and have you be held accountable/responsible for the current status of wellness.. The nursing field isnt easy, and had you stop worrying about your own silver spoon fed lives with your husbands, soccer mom lives and stay at home housewife stuck up selves maybe your poor little parents will be alright, they dont pay any C.N.A enough to deal with your $h%t !

My mom spent several months in the Memory Care Unit. They were very compassionate, well organized and cared for each person as an individual. I would recommend this place.

~ Medications ~ Continued to supply and bill parent with medication they no longer took. Good news parent was able to catch this. ~ Laundry ~ Destroyed clothing by putting bleach on colored clothes and did not replace or pay for them.Food ~ If you like yellow water with uncooked chunks of potatoes...then eat here. ~ Nurses supplying meds ~ low intelligence. Do not know when drugs are given, what they are given for or why. "Why is Dad getting this new drug?".....response..."I don't know?"~ Visiting Doctors ~ If they provide a script for a resident, that resident has no way of contacting that "doctor", with questions or complaints of side effects, etc. ~ Security ~ No one at front door half the time. Saw a Senior walk out with his walker out of the parking lot. Had to run throughout the building to get someone to check on him...should he be leaving the premise? ~ Rudeness ~ Nurses & Office staff...very rude. Helpers are very kind and concerned. ~ Don't send Parents here!

If you hate your elderly parents, send them to this place where the food, atmosphere and service is slightly better that the incompetent and rude staff. Don't get sold this bill of goods unless you truly need PUNISHMENT
