Provided by YP.comDO NOT GO HERE, THEY LIE AND TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY WHILE DOING ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY WORK TO YOUR TEETH.
I wish I could warn everyone of this horrible place. Went as a new costumer and was told I had 9 cavities that would cost my insurance money and me over 1,000 dollars out of pocket. I made an appointment to come back a few days later to get the cavities filled, the only thing that saved me was my internet search of this place which revealed a negative review on Google, one person said they were told they had 9 cavities and turned out they did not, so I made an appointment for a second opinion and was told I had NO cavities! I couldn't believe it. I have since been back for another 6 month check up and still no cavities. I am so thankful that I did not have fake cavities filled and my money stolen. People seemed so nice there, which is even more concerning because they are all manipulative con-artists, I hope the receptions and hygienist grow a heart and leave.

Dr. Nessim and all of the staff at North Aurora Dental have been so kind, warm and caring. I met them all by accident, but I think in reality they were angels sent to help me on my journey. I went for an emergency appointment due to some swelling of my lymph nodes under my chin which I thought was from an infected tooth. To make a long story short, I was diagnosed with stage four oral cancer and had to have three golf ball sized tumors removed from the lymph nodes under my chin. Dr, Nessim was the first of many doctors I would meet over the next six months. I didn't have dental insurance at the time, but I had a lot of dental work that needed to be done before my chemo-therapy and radiation therapy could begin. She worked with my radiation oncologist and mapped out a plan that would ensure my mouth to be in perfect condition before my radiation treatments began. She knew I couldn't afford it, but she never let that enter into the equation. My health was all she worried about. I am happy to say that I am now cancer free and I will be forever greatful to Dr. Nessim and all the wonderful people in the office that have opened up their hearts to me. They always greet me with hugs and smiles when ever I walk in the door. She may be just a dentist to you, but she will always be an Angel to me!

Provided by YP.comI agree with the previous poster… beware!!! My husband lost his job so without insurance he decided to go here because we had gotten an advertisement for a check up, cleaning, xrays, etc… for $59.99. That should have been our first sign. He came away from the appointment without anything b/c they claimed he needed a “deep clean” which would cost $600.00 due to some gum infection he had. This gum infection was so bad that they couldn’t treat it on the spot until they did the $600.00 cleaning. Oh, and he need an additional $1500 worth of other work (fluoride treatments, etc…). I found this to be strange b/c my husband had been to a dentist only 1 year before. So I took their recommendations and called the dentist I have been going to for the past 20 years. They agreed that it sounded fishy and that he should come into their office for a second opinion. Plus, they said if he really had a bad gum infection they shouldn’t have let him leave the office without some kind of treatment. So my husband went to my dentist and sure enough he just needed a standard cleaning. He didn’t have a gum infection or need a “deep clean” or any of the other treatments they recommended. What a scam! After the incident we found out one of our neighbors had a similar experience there. I would stay away… the cheap flyer (which he had to pay without getting a cleaning or anything) wasn’t worth the aggravation.

Provided by YP.comWhile I agree everyone in this practise is very friendly, I have serious doubts about the neccessity of work they recommend. My son went in for a check up. He did have a bad cavity that needed repair which included a crown. I was quoted a price, which was close to $1500 for the repair of the tooth, crown and fillings for cavities on two adjoining teeth. I was also told there was an additional $1200 needed to repair other cavities. The day my son went in for the two fillings and crown, the office called me to say he needed a root canal and it would be another $900 added to the bill. What could I do? Money is really tight in our household and it was a stretch to come up with the funds just for the initial procedures. Fast forward a few months and my husband goes in for a check-up. Guess what, he was advised he needed two crowns. He had been to another dentist six months ago and got a clean bill of health. We lost our dental insurance when we both lost our jobs. I was afraid we couldn't afford to continue seeing our usual family dentist. After the ridiculous recommendations this dentist has made, I now realize we can't afford NOT to see our family dentist. We knew him and his practise was well established and highly regarded. I just feel like it's the old bait and switch at North Aurora Dental. The work is done, as far as I can tell, very professionally. I just really question the neccessity of it. Buyer beware!

Provided by YP.comI moved to North Aurora and looked for a new Dentist in the area and tried several offices that me and my family were not at all satisfied with. I received a promotion from North Aurora Dental and gave it a try. My personal experience with this office was excellent. The Doctor and Staff were very caring and delivered great care to me and my family. No one likes to really go to the Dentist, although I can say now I look forward to the warm and friendly visits. I would recommend this office to my friends and family. Thank you North Aurora Dental for the great experience.

Provided by YP.comNot all dental offices are for everyone....there will always be bad and good reviews on each personal experience.
I myself had a great experience. I had never been told by my previous dentist that I had gum infection and how it would effect my body. By the time I left North Aurora Dental ...yes they did emphasis on the treatment but looking at it realistically I would benefit from the treatment. I noticed a huge difference with my gums as far as color and less bleeding and no bad breath. Where as to my previous , shortly after my cleaning appointments I felt like I needed to be seen again almost as if I should be seen every 3 months verses 6. I am very happy with North Aurora Dental. It is a dentist to tell the patients the diagnosis but its up to the patient how healthy they want their smile to be. So good job North Aurora Dental.......
