Georges is good Mediterranean food at a good price in this tourist location. We always get takeout now because getting a table is impossible. The seating area along the side is limited. The owner is a bit full of himself but we just order, pick up the food and leave so don't have to deal with his attitude. Although when the restaurant gets really busy he takes the phone off the hook and doesn't always want take out orders even if you go in person to order.

I love this place! The breakfast and lunch are great! My favorite at dinner is the salmon. It's simple, not overly priced and good!

Georges Place used to be my favorite breakfast spot in Cape May, but unfortunately the son, in my opinion, has become the equivalent of Seinfelds Soup Nazi.



My wife knew I really wanted to have breakfast there even though there was a 45 minute wait. So we walked around with our 2 young sons (11 months and 2.5 years) and the older one got so hungry we had to stop. Unfortunately, we didnt also walk back across town to tell Georges Place to take us off the list (my bad but what are you going to do with 2 young kids).



The next day we got up even earlier hoping to not have to wait as long and Georges Place refused to take our name or serve us even though my wife attempted to explain the circumstances. Funny with all the kid pictures both inside and outside you would think he would be more understanding.



I guess we will just have to go the Blue Pig or the Pancake House from now on.
