First of all, they cover the tattoo with plastic wrap. If that bothers you, look elsewhere.

I wanted a tattoo that required the artist to draw something up. They were reluctant to help me and bounced "Hey want this tattoo?" "I don't want to do it." off of each other in the main waiting area and eventually went into the private room, where you could see the lady who works in the front pleading with an artist to take the tattoo. From there, I sent the one who agreed to do it the images and he drew something up, but it took forever and the drawing was underwhelming at best. I'm from out of town and will gladly return to my hometown for my tattoo to be done well by respectful people (and also not covered in plastic wrap, which isn't my personal preference).

I got tattooed by Brad and he did a phenomenal job! Everyone in the shop is so welcoming and nice. Brads work is the best I've ever had done. I get tons of compliments and he makes sure to customize it so its unique in its own way. Not only is he a great artist he also is just a great down to earth guy as well.

They go above and beyond to please everyone who walks in the shop.

Great experience!!!! I walked in, told the one girl what I wanted she printed up some pics of what I wanted, then she told me to go across to their other office...I have to admit I was a lil Leary about it but I still went...I was met by a very charismatic and pretty girl, I believe her nick name was Nugget...cute as hell, and she introduced me to the girl who would design my tattoo...that was Emily or " M"...she knocked it out of the park...she listened to what I wanted and did it even better than I ever imagined...true artist...great personality...very cool person...I will definitely be getting more art from her!!!!

I moved to Charleston about 3 months ago from Virginia and wanted to get ink. 6 out of the 7 people i asked for recomendations told me about blue gorillla. I had Glenn tattoo a flower on my lower back. I have gotten so many complements from people who love my tattoo. I will always be loyal to the gorilla!!!
