The WORST cupcake EVER! Ordered 24 for my 2 year old granddaughters birthday party! The KIDS WOULD NOT EAT THEM! DRY, HARD and taste like flour! Management would not refund ANY MONEY for the uneaten cupcakes! Offered a gift certificate for MORE?? I don't think so! If I could give them a NEGATIVE FIVE I would! Note to Management: Just because they didn't call you to complain doesn't mean they LIKED your cupcakes! I asked EVRYONE at the party to write a review of those cupcakes!!

ordered 2 dzn strawberry champage cupcakes (bc yes they have very few each day so you have to order anything different 2 days in ahead). They tasted like mush. The store told me they soggy bc of the champage in them. Well if you know this tell the customer before order and drive all the way from summerville to be disappointed! The solution drive all the way back there from sville in the rain for a refund. So I understand you want to make $ but my time and $ is of no importance at all.

We have tried other cupcake places in Charleston and even other cities, and this is by far our favorite of any location. The cupcakes have a great flavor and the icing is much creamier than other cupcake places. We have had various flavors since they opened from Twix, Dulce de Leche, brownie, chocolate cheesecake, and more. Each one had a very distinctive flavor. The only one we didn't care for had a lemon frosting which we didn't like because the lemon was a bit powerful for our personal taste.



The decor is also very nice and the customer service is good. My daughter also loves the sprinkle station they have. They also have a cute party room available. Overall we highly recommend trying Butter Cupcakes and have been tempted to frequent often. It's nice to see a cute cupcake place in the North Charleston area for sure! Unfortunately for other cupcake places in town, this is our new stop for great cupcakes. Definitely worth a try if you love cupcakes.

I totally disagree with you saying that they have poor service! The service is great and the employees are very polite. Also Butter Cupcakes had the best overrated turned out. So as far as your silly remarks, I don't think that was needed!

BUTTER CUPCAKES!!!! I AM SOOOO IN LOVE WITH THE PRALINE AND RED VELVET.......THIS BOUTIQUE HAS A BEAUTIFUL SET UP FOR IT'S AWESOME AND FUN VARIETY OF FLAVORED DECORATED CUPCAKES...WITH IT'S VERY ON UNIQUE PARTY ROOMS.....RATED NUMBER ONE FROM ME!

Butter Cupcakes is such a cute bakery! Their flavors are really fun and yummy. My favorite was the chocolate cheesecake. We will definitely be back! Our daughter loved the large party room that they have in the back. We are so glad to have a bakery in North Charleston! Can't wait to come back!

I had the chocolate and the Reese, they were out of this world !!!! Bursting with flavor, moist and not too sweet

I had the strawberry and a chocolate flavor--perhaps a mocha? The strawberry cake was very moist and yummy. The frosting, however, tasted as if I was biting into a glob of crisco. I scraped the frosting off and ate just the cake. The chocolate, or mocha (?) was the opposite. The cake actually tasted stale and left me wondering when the batch was baked...there is no way it was within 48 hours let alone 24, but the frosting was fantastic. I will give Butter another shot to determine if their cupcakes are in fact worth the calories.
