Founded in 1989 by Sheri Grace Wenger, Midtown has grown to become a multi-award winning, 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization known for its high-caliber works & knack for nurturing new local talent. North Charleston is growing to become the next cultural & artistic hotbed in Charleston, and Midtown is ready to continue its legacy of entertaining, educating and showcasing talent in the Lowcountry. The NEW Midtown Theatre is located at 2816 Azalea Dr inside the Duvall Catering & Events building.
