I've been a member of South State Bank, ever since they were First Federal. At that time, I had just gotten out of the hospital, from a very serious accident at work that paralyzed me from my chest down. My credit report was shot due to all the medical bills that Worker's Comp hadn't paid as of yet. They took a chance on me back in 2002, and has helped in restoring my life to something more livable. They have one of the best overdraft protections, with fair pay back interest. They've made my life so much easier as a paralyzed disabled veteran.
