Provided by YP.comThe manager is arrogant, rude, and basically just a complete jerk, I dont know about the rest of the staff, but thats probably why the store has no customers except for law enforcement using the indoor range. And they are certainly not Military Veteran friendly. I wouldn't believe any of the favorable reviews.
If you want quality service I would go to a store that actually has customers and a staff willing to assist you.

Provided by YP.comWalked into an all male shop. No shock though; it's guns. Anyway, the folks in there seemed to be nice enough. I was glad my husband was with me. So, we walked around and picked out a gun that we thought I'd use (why?). We used the firing range and that wasn't too bad. Came back out and was hit with the CWP sales pitch. Okay, not that interested. Why do I need to haul another weapon around in my purse? Anyway - So the guy says, "If you ever don't want your pistol anymore, bring it back and we'll buy it back. Oh boy... they just didn't say for how much! So I don't use this weapon - I call and am told by Randy that "we'll give you half or so depending on what I'm buying them new for" and I said, "Half??" What ever mister. If you were looking for a repeat customer out of me you've failed and as my son says it, "Epic fail". Whatever... You better read between the lines and assume what's not said to be able to shop in this store. I'll give 'em an "eh" for being nice about robbing me.

Provided by YP.comTrader World is the best gun shop in the Charleston area. I traded-in my old gun with them and got a good price for it. I also purchased three Ruger's (LCP, LCR and SR9c) from them in the past year. Their prices are far cheaper than Carolina Rod and Gun or ATP. The sales team, Randy, Kevin and David are extremely knowledgeable and provide outstanding customer service. Trader World is also a Davidson's distributor, which means if anything goes wrong with a gun you buy with the Davidson's Guarantee Lifetime Replacement Warranty, it will be replaced. If no replacement is available, it will be repaired at no charge to you.
Trader World has has a good range. The range master, Jack, is extremely knowledgeable and personable.
Trader World offers CWP classes every Saturday for $50 a person. The classes are taught by a great group of NRA certified instructors.
Don't waste your time or money going to other guys.

Provided by YP.comI purchased a gun here recently for self protection. I am a single female that lives alone and didn't know much about guns before visiting this store. I visited other gun stores in the area, but Trader World's staff took the time to educate me about guns and took the time to find the best one for me. No others did that!

Provided by YP.commost awful service I had in 10 years in any kind of store. The salesperson had no knowledge and the manager there had no ideas about SC state laws and was arrogant too. Prices are not good either and they charge a 3% fee if you credit cards, what kind of business does that? If their prices are cheap then I can understand but they are not. Manned by just one salesperson and a manager who spends time in the corner computer all the time. Selection is limited too. I would just test the gun out there and order them online and have it transferred or just go to another store with better reputation.
