I am a Postpartum Doula serving families in the Richmond, VA area. I encourage a smooth transition to parenthood with evidence-based advice, practical help and nurturing support to increase your confidence as a new parent and new family. I would be honored to support your family during your most amazing journey. Studies show that women who experience caring support from others have greater breastfeeding success, greater self-confidence in their new role as parent and less postpartum depression than those who do not. In addition, research tells us that support for the partner can have a significant impact on the partners own experience as well as the emotional adjustment of the mother.
