Founded as a professional corporation in 2005, William D. Satchell, CPA, PC is an experienced certified public accountant firm located in Richmond, Virginia. We combine "Big Four" CPA firm and private business experience with a dedication to providing the personal attention our clients desire. We understand that our clients depend on us to help them make the financial decisions that will shape their futures. We have extensive experience assisting individual clients and privately-held businesses reach their financial goals. Our business expertise includes the following trades and professions: Will has over 26 years of experience in public accounting and private business financial management. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Will worked for the "Big Eight" accounting firm of Deloitte, Haskins and Sells (a predecessor company of Deloitte and Touche) for five years performing audits of mining and insurance companies, and local governments, among others. Moving into the private sector, Will held positions of increasing responsibility in financial services companies and, most recently, as Chief Financial Officer Pohlig Brothers, Inc, a custom order manufacturer. There, Will was responsible for the functions of finance and administration, human resources and information systems.
