The Upper Bay Museum is a non-profit all-volunteer organization, dedicated to preserving the lifestyle of the waterman and hunter of the upper Chesapeake Bay. The mission of the Upper Bay Museum is: to collect, preserve and display historical documents and artifacts; to use them to teach the Heritage of the Upper Chesapeake Watermen; to maintain the century-old H. L. Harvey Company commercial fish house as a museum building; to promote activities to conserve and propagate Chesapeake Bay waters, marine life, waterfowl and upland game. We are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year.
