VERY BAD EXPERIENCE..! The owners of this place Victor Duran and Mari (his wife) were very unprofessional and extremely unorganized. They charged me 3,500 to rent the salon for a night in which I had payed the full amount, the contract stated that there’s a $500 security deposit that will be returned to the client one week after the event if there are no damages reported. Well there was no damages at all and I never got my deposit back because according to the owners “I never payed my deposit” but keep in mind that I had gave them $3,500 which was never explained to me that on top of the $3,500 there was still a $500 deposit fee. I thought I was paying the $3000 for the salon and the $500 for security deposit. When I asked both owners why is it that they didn’t specify this from the beginning and ask me for an extra $500 for deposit aside from the $3,500, they’re response was “it slipped our mind and we forgot to mention it” so come the day of me trying to collect my deposit they pull this crap. The Salon was too small for that price and not enough food for 100 people, the security kept disappearing and was very rude to my guests, there was a lot of homeless and druggies hanging out in the parking lot of the event which made my guests very uncomfortable and skeptic about leaving their cars alone. I gave this place 2 stars on their service only because during the event the 2 ladies that were catering did an amazing job and worked their asses off to ensure that everything went right on their part so I’ve got nothing but good things to say about them and CLAERLY the “owners” need to hire more help for these ladies because they work too hard for them to only have each other to help out all night. Terrible, and unprofessional owners and I will never do business with them again.
