First off, I am a Piano Teacher and have been teaching professionally for over 17+ years. in Orange County, Diamond Bar and Los Angeles counties. I am very very particular in the sound I would like my students' pianos to have. Piano regulation & tuning is not just a technical form, it really is an art. If the Piano Technician does not know how to make the piano "sing" (not just play in tune), then whatever you play on the piano will sound "mechanical".



There have only been TWO Piano Technicians who have been able to bring the best out of every piano I refer (even 70yr old piano) and truly make the piano "sing" when my students play. Mr. Ballenger is one of them.



Mr. Ballenger's work is not just work, I consider it masterpiece, because after he finishes with the pianos, everyone actually loves playing the piano even more.



We had a Baby Grand piano at church which I considered "hopeless". Mr. Ballenger worked on our church piano for a few hours and brought it back to life. He was very very honest, ethical, and professional in every way. I have talked with many other musicians, who say he's the only one who knows how to truly bring the best in their instruments as well.

Roger is an amazing piano tuner. I have an old piano that is difficult to tune, he has it in tune everytime! He is very dependable, very nice and a very honest person.
