Provided by YP.comI needed to find out what was wrong with my mini-van a few days before I had to pay rent so I could work, and pay that rent you feel me?
I brought it to Flavio because I didn't know what was wrong with it, and it was the closest shop to my house that was open on a sunday.
He kept my car in his shop for three days while aware of the fact that I needed my van to work in order to pay my rent. Lazy of him, I came to find out from other mechanics.
Over the three days I would periodically check up on him, and he'd try to make it seem like he was doing me a favor, and that I was the one harassing him and not letting him do his work.
On 04/29/2018 Flavio completed the repair on the radiator for my mini-van. In total, he charged me $366.33 to do this, with a separate charge for the inspection. Totaled to around $450.
On 06/19/2018 the radiator started giving out again. I wasnt sure that was the problem but I had another mechanic confirm it, and he told me to go see the person who took care of my radiator.
I went to Flavio's shop to speak to him about it (while filming) and he was immediately aggressive with me. He started giving excuses as I was trying to explain my situation, and when he got fed up with it he got out of his chair and started to push me out of his office physically. It didn't occur to me that the receipt he issued me (pictured below) says that I'm covered under warranty for 365 days, or 17,000 miles at the time. I'm wondering if I could pursue legal action because of this. If anybody reads this and has some insight, please let me know!
I got good word, and immediately took my car to Jerry at South American Radiator who got the radiator fixed in less than 4 hours for $180 total. Completely different results. Gave me all the information I needed to feel comfortable. The new mechanic told me that the last radiator job done on my vehicle was "so poor that it looks like a child attempted to do it for the first time."

Provided by YP.comHi, this review and comment about this place is after several services that I required of so called auto smart service. I can tell you that if you don't want to get rubbed keep away from this place...Every time I brought my car to this place for mechanical service, my vehicle ended up have another problem that did not have before...one time we settle a price for transmission installation and I ended up paying yet more...they are very good at sucking money from your wallet. This job I was told would be done in two days, it took two weeks. I was so frustrated every day I would come to ask if my car was ready the mechanic would tell me tomorrow, I notice that when another customer would come in the place ask for tires for example, my car was put away and to the job for the tires. You know why they do this right? They don't want to let go that money, meanwhile your car is staying behind...In the same transmission work, the next day when checked the trans underneath they didn't change the seals and they were leaking. See they don't want to spend any money on new seals they want all profit. They give you a guarantee for three months, they don't care if the transmission is broken down the fourth month. If you know of a good mechanic around this area let us know and keep this people in business, and run away from places like this one which don't care about you as customer nor your vehicle, but how to get to your wallet...I'm up for mechanics who make an honest buck. Unfortunately there aren't many around...
