Mercury Electric Company is a small electrical contracting business located in North Hollywood, California. It began as a partnership between Raymond Iadevaia and Tony Nardi but shortly after, Ray bought the company off and made it his own. Ray thought he would name his company Mercury Electric after the Greek god of speed. Thus, their mascot is a running Greek god with a lightning bolt in his hand, signaling swift and efficient service. In 1991, Ray retired and his son-in-law Casey Sarff now runs the company. Mercury Electric has been in business for over 40 years and currently employs two part-time secretaries and five electricians including the owner, Casey. Prices: We charge $70.00 per hour, per electrician plus a $35.00 service charge to come out. We also charge for material, however we do offer FREE estimates. We accept cash, checks, and the following credit cards: Service Hours: We are open Monday through Friday from 8: 00am to 5: 00pm but are available after hours for emergencies.
