Tiki doesn't get better. Ambiance, music, drinks, good bartenders, comfy seats, and so dark you'll trip. Have a sit.

L.A's oldest tiki bar. The decor can't quite compete with the Tiki Ti, but unlike the Ti, you can actually get a seat in the Tonga Hut and the drinks aren't so outrageously priced. I recommend the basic Mai Tai

Awesome place - great authentic tiki decor. I think it has been there since 1958 very little has been updated, and it looks great. Very strong drinks - we went there early and talked to the bartender a while, he was super friendly.
