I left my vape on a shelf. I clearly rem doin so while tryn on a waist-like-pack near the rifles. I went bk a short time latr & went 2 the lost & found & asked if any1 had found or turned it in. The assoc chked a bin & sd she'll get a mgr 2 chk the office. I sd thks. Meanwhile I went bk 2 were I 4got it, in hopes that it was still there. It wasn't. The assoc tld the mgr about me 4gettn my vape. The first thing she sd 2 me wz Ur not allowed 2 vape in the store. I tld her that I wasn't vaping but that I carry it w/me. I then stated that maybe an employee/customer tk it since it wasn't turned in. She sd R associates don't steal & You'll nd 2 call the police on ur own as we're not responsible. Lastly, she sd while walkin away We'll u shld of left it in ur car. What an obnoxious soulless wretch. An assoc felt so bad 4 me about her attitude that she apologized. She tk my nam, #, descrip, & stor whereabouts & stated that she wld have secur lk @ footage &/or call me if it appeared. Terminate!!
