The only reason that I give them 1 * is because you have to.

My daughter was the victim of a armed robbery and her car was stolen this evening.

The NLVPD engaged in a vehicle chase and her car was ultimately crashed.

She was taken to the scene by the PD to identify her vehicle, but was not allowed to get close to it or get any of her possessions out of it.

We called the towing company to find out if her garage door opener was in the car or if we could come and check. We explained to them what happened and that she was not given an opportunity to go through her car before they picked it up from the crime scene.

They wanted to charge her a fee of either 50.00 or 150.00 (the guy was difficult to understand) to check to see if the garage door opener was in the car.

Again, we tried to explain to them the situation and that she has small children at home and was the victim of a violent crime and we needed to find out if they could possibly access her home via the garage door.

The guy hung up on me.

No empathy, no humanity, no understanding...............................
