If you want to be messed with, I suggest ordering something to be delivered by Star Nursery. On Tuesday, 5/6/14, I ordered 2 yards of top soil. A very simple order. I was told it would be delivered Friday morning. I got home at 3pm and the dirt was not there. I called the number they gave me on my invoice and asked where the dirt is. They said they would call a driver and call me back to give me a time. 45 minutes passed and they did not call back. I called the same number and asked what happened. They left me on hold for 25 minutes, and then told me the order was with another star nursery location. I asked why they didn't tell me that when I first called and the said we're sorry, but it’s at another location. I called the other location and they said something about the order was already "sold," so they could not look up where the order was. They told me to call the original store and find out what happened to the order. Horrific service. Might as well be calling the IRS for customer service.

BEWARE!! Bought a tree from Star 3 months ago and it died. We were told when we bought it that it was guaranteed for 1 year. When we returned the tree, with the receipt, we were told by the young lady at customer service that she would refund the purchase. However, when she took the receipt to the register the "manager" told her that they don't refund, they only do store credit. So, we were stuck shopping for a new tree and carting it home in 105 degree weather. Don't trust Star Nursery for backing their products and guarantees.

Made an online purchase for drip irrigation tables that they said would completely dissolve in water but after running the system for 1hr most of the tablet was still in there so I had to flush the system. Out of 4 emails and 1 call I got 1 email reply. Would not recommend.

I used to work for Ann road,I can say but one thing its a great business I learned a lot there,but was never giving the chance to do what I find that would broaden my spectrum of employment with them..very disapointed with that manager RJ was a man to say go go go but I never got the choice I wanted or really needed advancement in my knowledge within the store...shame too I wanted to be on the floor instead I was shoved into a dump truck or a green truck an was constantly on the road,next thing you know two years later busting my rear for this company he tranfers me to Cheyenne where I was told what to do only doing green delieverys where I had nearly any,well not enough knowledge on the plants.it tears me apart inside knowing that man who not only hired me but tranfered me chose his bonus instead of a hard worker,his bottom line was more important then the fact I was a good worker...if he reads this F U you jerk I hope u Putin the rest of your life and just before ur able to retire they fire ur happy $#&* $#@* because this hard working white American was nothing more then a loyal company man,by the way you should tell the people you hire that it gets so slow during the cold season you wont be able to feed ur family unless you havetwo jobs.star nursery looks down upon an employee with two jobs shows them no loyalty...I say $%#& them Craig the owner I wish I could have an hour with this guy just to ask him why would he allow me to be treated like that I'm human not a price of garbage you just transfer away and then let go of three months later. Sincerely. An unhappy ex employee who know collecting unemployment now just another statistic

My husband and I have done business multiple times with the store on Ann Road and can't speak highly enough of the staff there. We have received personal help beyond the norm each and every time we've stopped there and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of the plants/trees/shrubs we've purchased. We come from a different climate and the expertise of the staff has proven very reliable to us. We wouldn't shop anywhere else.

take a body guard.... my visit today to the location on 7330 W Cheyenne location was my LAST. there was a man standing IN THE DOORWAY smoking a cigar. I could not enter the building without walking through his cloud of smelly cigar smoke. i spoke to the manager and her response was "He's a customer." She could have asked the man to move away from the door into the parking lot to smoke his cigar, but she chose not to because he was "a customer." Apparently, if you are a "customer" of star nursery, you are free to stand in the doorway and blow cigar smoke in the face of every other "customer" who goes in/out. If a "customer" decided to walk around naked, smoking pot, exposing himself to children and blowing cigar smoke in their faces, I assume the managment response would have been the same....
