Went and got a haircut and highlight with Elisa. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I would not recommend going here. I asked her to put in ombre highlights and ended up with platinum blonde highlights on the top and sides of my head. I have dark brown hair and that does not complement platinum blonde highlights very well. If you care about your hair at all DO NOT GO HERE.

I moved to Iowa City from Chicago and fretted that I wouldn't be able to find someone to cut & highlight my hair in this town. A coworker referred me to Barbarella's in the 965 Salon & Spa building and, I have to say, am not only pleased with my new look but am ecstatic about paying less for better quality. What a find!
