After I told Dave i had two kids with no air he dropped everything and got me service at 8 in the evening and waived the overtime charges. Thanks!!

I don't recommend Dave's Heat and Air for the intial new home construction, annual inspection or any service work. The owner, Dave, is a nice guy but the products he sells are faulty, and he typically doesn't show up for scheduled appointments.



We used his business to install a Westinghouse heat pump for a newly constructed house 3 years ago. His price was fair and the intial work we thought, was good, at the time. However, we have encountered several issues with the unit. For example one year ago, the heat exchange was leaking to the drain pan and almost runied our ceiling. It took 3 different trips to figure out what the problem was with the leaking water. This year all the freon leeked out of our unit due to faulty coil after only 3 years. Dave wouldn't show up to fix so this problem so we hired another company. Becasue of this problem, we checked with the manufacture, and found out that Dave failed to register our intial warranty information. This oversight reduced the scheduled warranty from 10 to 5 years. Finally, on 10 different occassions since we installed the unit 3 years ago, Dave would schedule an appointment with a specific time and never show up or call to say he couldn't make the appointment.

Mr. Miller came out on a Saturday but did not charge anything extra. Within 30 minutes he had my house cooling again. He does stay extremely busy, but he will get to you and doesnt charge a arm and a leg. im sorry the person with the bad review had such a bad experience. But we have never had any problem and sent him to numerous friends and family.

Another company told me I needed a new A/C. Dave came out and replaced a small part and got it going. Extremely honest and reasonable. I would recommend him to everyone

If there were a rating below a one I would use it! Dave's heat and air was contracted by the seller during the purchase of the home through Crye-Leike. The home purchase negotiations through Crye-Leike between the buyer and seller required the replacement of the furnace and repair of duct work to the home being purchased. Dave replaced the furnace and when doing so knocked over a pot used to collect water and claimed it was not him. Ceiling damage was left up to the new home owners to repair. The transition duct from heater to evaporator cooling coil has a 3' gap which he just applied taped over, the air return plenum had massive air leaks too. So large the air leak caused vibrations that sounded like it had a separate motor running. Dave's heat and air was also contracted to repair duct work for which was not done, the duct work had up to 1.5 inch gaps of air leakage where the duct connects to the plenum, duct insulation was left ripped off ducts, ducts were crushed. How can a business professional leave such poor work to speak about their work quality? Too bad I can't attach pictures. Needless to say, the code inspector listed two pages of code violations. Recommend Crye-Leike recommend state inspector look at work done as part of home buy/sell as well as advise clients to NOT use Dave's Heat and Air.
