Paul is an honest, gifted and amazing mechanic! I was on vacation for a week in Hot Springs when my check engine light came on in my '06 New Beetle. I was aware I had transmission issues; I just didn't know how serious. After reading all the great reviews, I had my car towed over to O'Hara Automotive. Paul had already given me quotes over the phone that I knew were far lower than what I was reading on the Forums and with over 100 5-star reviews, I knew my car was in the right place. Confidence like that feels so good! Fantastic news: my transmission did not have to be rebuilt. The transmission valve body needed to be replaced. He did some unrelated engine clean-up work at no charge which was really sweet. He's a wonderful guy and got the job done quickly. I live within five hours of Little Rock and I'll keep bringing my car down here and my roommate will too. Paul is a rarity and it sure is a pleasure to find him. There are several mechanics who like cars and their jobs. Paul O'Hara more than loves his job, Volkswagens and Audi's are his passion. Paul will show and tell exactly what you need and don't need. He won't try to sell you on parts you don't need and he will advise you on the differences on similar parts from different manufacturers.



O'Hara Automotive installed a clutch kit, flywheel and steel shift forks in my Volkswagen. He did an amazing job! Saved me hundreds of dollars compared to the local dealerships.

I would never trust any of my vehicles to any one else. I recently took my 06 Jetta to Paul before embarking on a 1700 mile road trip as I wanted to ensure I wouldn't encounter any problems on my way. I have never met a more honest hard working mechanic who genuinely cares about the customers.

Helped me with my q7 when the audi dealership gave a really hard time and almost priced me out of my truck. The owner Paul loves these cars like no one does. Paul O'Hara is very professional. He replaced the valve cover gasket on our 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan. The work was completed in a timely manner and his prices are very reasonable. We are extremely pleased with the work and we go to him again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend going to him for your automotive needs!!
