Provided by YP.comThe House of Blues in Myrtle Beach advertised their New Years Eve concert as a "non-smoking event". During the concert, many people in the crowd were smoking. As I looked around, many people at the bar were smoking, as well. There were employees all around the facility in red shirts, not doing a thing about the smokers. I pointed this out to two red-shirted employees who were in the crowd right behind me. Nothing was done. After midnight the atmosphere was filled with smoke even more, so I decided to leave. On my way out I saw one of the employees against the wall laughing with a beer girl. I asked to speak to a manager. He refused to get the manager for me. I pointed out the smokers to him, and he said that he was doing everything he could do to get them to stop (Leaning against the wall talking to a beer girl?? OK). I told him that his answer was unacceptable and I wanted to speak to a manager. He yelled in my face to get the f*** out. On my way out I stopped 3 more employees and asked if I could speak to the manager. One of them finally got him for me. I expressed my concern and nothing was done. Besides this, the drinks were prices WAYYYYY to high, the bathrooms are so dirty, and there were so many 17—20 year old KIDS drinking and falling on the floor drunk. I watched employees laugh at the drunk kids. These kids were not wearing wrist bands and had beer in their hands. I can't believe this facility would let any of this happen. It was apparent that they were aware of the situations and did NOTHING about them.
