What started as a hobby restoring furniture, custom painting furniture and decorating homes became a full time business. The Polished Patina was established as a small rustic boutique in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Cher works in the store repainting furnishings and selling high quality home accessories daily. Every major decorator and enthusiast knows her in town and her work has quickly become sought after and overbooked. With a backlog of furniture to be painted, it became difficult to stock all the items she’s was being asked for. Someone would come in and ask “Can you order that cute sign I saw last week?” or “Oh no! You sold the last candle holder I saw yesterday”. For this reason we created The Polished Patina online store. You can still purchase your favorite items in store or online and have them delivered to your home! This may be a rustic styled store, But we’re also high tech!
