Worst mani/pedi ever! Shellac started to peal off in 3 days! My store bought nail polish lasts longer than that! Horrible service when I requested a refund for the poor quality of my pedi job-the manager tried to blame me for the color of my old nail polish! When it was them who didn't do a good job taking off my old store bought pink polish before starting the French tip so you could see my old pink polish around each nail...first time there and LAST TIME THERE!

horrible

The worst nail salon on the planet! They tell you if any problems with gel service that supposedly lasts 2 weeks they will repair for free or a refund. When I went back to remove gell from before I stated there were bubbles in the polish. And was told its due to how I laid my hands. So another $40+ bucks just to sit and wait for 2 tecks to share the lamp because others were broke and now only after 5 days the polish is peeling and looks like crap. I walk in yesterday and asked for a manager but of course they weren't there so I was offered to have my nails redone for free today, I shouldn't go back but I'll try one last time for them to show some skills and if its another horrible job I will go straight to corporate for a complete refund and trust me they will never forget the phone call or reviews by the time I'm done.

This place has the worst service of any nail salon I've ever been to. I went for a "walk-in" pedicure. The sign on the front window is lit up and says "WALK-INS WELCOME"..They were not busy at all but told me they could not take me right now because they had appointments scheduled, could I come back at 6:00 (nearly two hours later). No, sorry - I can't. Your sign welcomes walk-ins. If you don't welcome walk-ins, put a sign up that says "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" !!!!!!! This is the second time I was turned away as a walk-in from a salon that was virtually empty. They obviously don't like to hire people who want to work. I will NOT be back and will make sure I advise others not to go there either. Needless to say, I left and went to my regular spot and received wonderful service and a GREAT Pedicure. This establishment was extremely busy but I walked right in, picked out my polish and was treated like they wanted my business. LUV should take lessons on being in business from them. What a sad place of business. I will not give you a dime of my hard-earned money ever.

So I went to luv on a Saturday afternoon with my 8 year old daughter to get manies and peides together. (It was a special treat for her because she’s my maid of honor in my up coming wedding) I would have to say I was starting to doubt my choice before leaving for the appointment because of the ratings/reviews that this site offered! How ever I figured id give it a try after calling and talking to the receptionist on the phone. You see I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 9 years and my mom is a retired nail tech. I let the receptionist know that I read the poor reviews and I would "luv" it if she would place me with a tech that had a bit of back round. The Receptionist got me set up with just the right person. My lady was the best. Vary efficient, CLEAN!!! Witch is the biggest thing to me, and wonderful at her job. I have been spoiled with my mom being a nail tech all my life and was heart broken when she let me now that she wouldn't be able to do my nail for my wedding. I'm so happy that I didn't let those other " Prissy Girls " that wrote the other reviews sway my choice. Price is far (just use some common sense and ask pricing question to stay in your budget) then sit back, relax and let your tech take care of you. Remember when your going in for luxury services like this that you my have to have a little patience. Then the best advice that I can give you is TIP WELL!!! (like 5$ for each service you get and 5$ more for each upgrade from the basic service) Even if the first service is just OK, because a good tipper is always remembered and usually treated better the second time around and normally your tech will want you to come back so she (or he) can make good money so they will be more attentive and prompt for your next services!!! Hope this helps and "luv “your nails. p.s. I normally wouldn't be the one to write a review or for that matter pump up there name but I'm really picky about my nails and feel that they really deserve it. Thanks for reading, enjoy!!!

About a week ago, I went to Luvs to get a Whole Lotta Love Pedicure and an acrylic soak off. This visit was very far from satisfactory. When I first arrived they told me to come back an hour later. I didn't want to come back, so when I told them I couldn't, she begrudgingly told me she could fit me in. But, I thought walk ins were welcome??

I waited about 10-15 minutes for a chair to open up when my tech called me back. She did not look happy to see me and looked rather annoyed. In general she was sort of pushy and bossy during the service but got nicer as the service went on, so I brushed it off as that she was having a bad day. But it got worse. She rushed through the service, didn't cut my cuticles, and gave me a massage/scrub that lasted a about of 10 second per foot. Mind you, this was supposed to me a deluxe pedicure ($42). I've had a few deluxe pedicures in my day and this was very far from from deluxe. It was not relaxing at all and everything but the nail painting felt rushed. She took an exorbitant amount of time painting my toenails and had to start over on my one foot because she painted them way too thick. The soak off took a long time but those normally do. During the soak off, my tech was telling another tech that she was supposed to leave an hour ago and that "they did this to me on purpose." I took this to mean that "they" were the management and that she didn't want to take care of me at all. It was extremely unprofessional and made me feel like crap. Now I knew why she rushed through my pedicure.

When asked if my service was good, I told the girl very nicely that my service was not very good and told her how it went. She apologized, took my name and number, and told me that the vice president of the salon would call me by Monday at the latest to set it all straight (this was a Friday). That was a week ago and I have yet to receive a phone call. In general, it has just been a very frustrating and annoying experience. I ended up paying almost $60 for everything (including tip). That's a lot of money for a crappy service. I will never go back to this salon again. If they had called me and set it straight I probably would have gone back, but now I won't. Save yourself the money, time, and frustration and go to a different salon.

I went in for a gel tip nails....

I went in for a gel tip nails. I came out with my nails shorter than when I went in. The nailes were not even, they were to thick and there was a couple of bumps in them. They were all shapped different shapes and different sizes. The nail polish was on the sides of my nails on my skin. I called the manager and was promised removal of the gel, a new set and that she would be there. None of this happened. This was after the manager had set qan appointment with another tech, and called me the day after when I was supposed to be there that day to tell me they had to make another change and it would be the same person and the following evening. This whole experience was the worst that I have ever encountered anywhere. I have been having my nails done for 20 years, and this was so unacceptable. Please be careful, as this was horrible.
