Provided by YP.comImpressively quick turnaround time and an overall pleasant first experience!
A coworker had referred me to Bill's. Late 2016 I towed my Husky rider into the shop for seasonal maintenance and time has proven that the job was done right...the first time. From the get-go we chatted like old friends. It's peace of mind knowing that my equipment will be in good hands for years to come.

Provided by YP.comBill and his crew know their stuff! I have gone back a few times now. The first time was last winter when my snowblower needed a new carb. He had the parts so I could rebuild it, and he gave me a great price for the pieces as well as valuable advice to make sure the snowblower would continue to run. I just recently went back for a Hustler mower that blew its engine. His guys were able to locate a new engine and replace it within a few days. Bill has always been prompt, honest, and easy to communicate with.

Provided by YP.comI have known Bill for over 20 years and I am glad he's available in his own shop. 20 years ago I bought a Husqhuvarna chain saw from Northboro Power Equipment. After lass than an hour using it, it seized up. Owner told me because I bad mixed the fuel. Service Manager Bill put his job on the line and disagreed with owner. Bill was right, he fought Husquarvanar in that they put valves in upside down. He got me a new saw!
Since then has been exclusive mechanic to my commercial grade BuntonMower. Over 25 years old, Arians snow blower. 15 years old. Jiffy ice auger, 35 years old. And anything else I need fixed. Husky stills runs, and everything does. When they need attention Bill is a phone call away. He always calls back and shows up as promised!

Provided by YP.comBest customer service ever! I am a senior citizen with a 14 year old 24” snow blower. You are all aware of the crazy amount of snow we have received in the last week with another 1 to 2 feet expected over the weekend. Using my machine on Friday I suddenly had no reverse and only one low forward gear. I did finish clearing snow, but I had to lug the machine to turn it around and really push in the one low gear. I found Bill by using Google and my zip code. I read the positive reviews and called him.
After explaining my situation he could not have been more accommodating. I was very concerned I would not have it back in time for the predicted major storm coming. In spite of being extremely busy because of our crazy weather, he picked up my machine the same day. Bill called me several hours later to tell me that he pulled a “big old Mouse nest” out of my machine and that I shouldn’t worry, because he would have it back to me in the morning. True to his word, bright and early Saturday morning, my machine is back. His price for pickup and delivery and labor is very fair. I am so impressed I have told several friends, who, just as I intend to do, will be asking Bill to perform the yearly maintenance in the spring. Proudly recommended for service, expertise, and price
Donna.

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely, highly recommend. All of the reviews here are true. Our snowblower inhaled our newspaper on Saturday. After trying for 1/2 of Sunday to extract it, and worried about the impending blizzard, I found Bill on the web through Google. He actually answered the phone on a Sunday (yesterday). Came as promised and picked it up this morning, and had it back to us tonight, just ahead of the blizzard.

Provided by YP.comBill went out of his way to fix my Ariens snow blower in time for the next (huge) snow storm. I dropped it off and it was fixed within the hour, and he even took extra time to clean it up and go the extra mile. I would highly recommend bill to any one. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely be bringing my mower, generator, and all other small engines for tune ups. Thanks again bill!

Provided by YP.comFirst - it's such a pleasure to meet someone who loves their work, is pleasant and happy and fixes your machine (in my case - my lawnmower) as if it were his own. That in and of itself makes Bill's worth going to.
On top of that though - the prices are terrific - I had all sorts of problems with my lawnmower - with the fuel lines, with the piece that allows for the smooth movement of a pull cord - it needed a good tune up - you name it - I was about to bite the bullet and get a new one - so this was my last shot. I had gone to two lawnmower repair people before - the first retired and was decent - the second was a disaster and I got my money back - then Bill gave me my old mower in like-new condition.
Bill took care of the problems and even fixed the front left wheel so it auto-propels with power. Pretty cool stuff.
The last thing I did before I left was get a bunch of his business cards. Looking forward to giving them to friends.

Provided by YP.comWhat a pleasure being greeted on the phone and in person with a smile and a “how may I help you” attitude! Bill’s military background clearly transfers to the efficiency of how his business is run. I called around for a couple of quotes for a lawn mower tune up. Bill answered the phone professionally and was friendly to boot! His politeness and customer service skills are top notch! He quoted me a price and timeline for a lawn service and delivered accurately on both. Since then, I’ve brought in two additional weed wackers and received consistent service on both. I plan on bringing an additional mower for service and will return for my small engine yearly maintenance. The word is being spread to family and friends regarding my great experiences at Bill’s Small Engine Repair. Thank you Bill for your business acumen and serving in the military for our freedoms!!!

Provided by YP.comBeen using Bill's services for several years for my riding mowers, snow blowers, weed wackers and leaf blower. Fastest/ best customer service of all vendors I've ever used and very reasonable prices. Other family members are also using Bill's services exclusively! Other vendors have driven me away with their "devil may care attitude", high prices and unreasonable repair interval. How nice it is to be greeted with a smiling face. Will tell you if it's not worth repairing. I'm gladly telling neighbors, friends and family members to use Bill's services. Please do yourself a favor by using this service. You'll be so glad you did!!

Provided by YP.comI have to say I was extremely impressed with Bill's Small Engine Repair! I was cutting my lawn and was half way through when my lawnmower wouldn't run, I dreaded the thought of another major repair but when I brought it to Bill he assured me he could fix it like new without breaking the bank he really went out of his way to make sure it was done right. I will make it a point to definitely go to Bill when I need a repair. In a time when trust is hard to come by Bill is definitely someone to trust, he takes a great deal of pride in his work.

Provided by YP.comI've brought my small engine equipment to a few repair shops and I felt as I needed to still look around because I didn't feel like I was getting a fair price and wasn't exactly happy with the repairs. But now I believe I have. Nothing like finding a repair person that you can trust. I brought in a sit down mower that needed a major going through. It was blowing out black smoke and I don't know how I made it through last season. I brought the tractor in on a Saturday and I received a call Monday night letting me know it was done. When I picked it up, it looked like a new mower. More importantly, it ran like one too! I thought I was going to be paying over $300, but instead I payed $191. I'll be bringing in all my small engine equipment to Bill for repairs and I've told other family and friends about him as well. The other thing that impressed me was that Bill made sure to tell me that he warranties his work for the whole season. That's how you do business and stay in it.

Provided by YP.comI started calling around for snow blower repairs after hearing that a blizzard was coming. I was told that it was not possible to have my snowblower repaired and returned within 2-3 days and I would not likely have it back sooner than 2-3 weeks. Then I called Bill. He picked up my machine that night and had it back in time for the two feet of snow we had that storm. My snowblower has never run as well as it does now and it was returned looking brand new. I didn't even recognize it.
Bill saved my husband many hours of back breaking shoveling and many days of complaining of back pain.
Bill is very pleasant to deal with and he sure knows his small engine repair. Bill's Small Engine is the only place we will bring our machines from now on.
Thank you Bill !!!!!!!

Provided by YP.comI've been using Bill's Small Engine Repair for a few years now for my lawn tractor and snow blower after using several other repair services in the Oxford MA area. Bill is without a doubt the most customer-service oriented small business owner I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Just this past weekend, I contacted him on a Saturday via text to set up some time to have my lawn tractor and one other mower tuned up for Spring 2013. I expected to hear a response from him after the weekend. He actually called and texted me Sunday morning, came by Sunday afternoon to pick up the machines, had them done within 5 hours , called Sunday night to say they were ready, and dropped them off at my house Monday night--wow!!. I know of no other small business owner who cares about his customers that much. If you go to anyone else in the Oxford-Auburn-Charlton area, you are crazy!! Thanks Bill

Provided by YP.comBill Small Engine Repair is the place to go! I have been using Bill's service for at least 5 years now for all of our lawn mowers and snow blower. His service excellent and his prices very reasonable. He also has a great service plan. Best thing about Bill is he is honest to a "T"! Bill will service your machine and cover all repairs for an entire season. Can't get any better than that! I highly recommend Bill.

Provided by YP.comBest place ever, great service, great prices, professional people. I called the day before a blizzard, when everyone else said either no way or wanted to charge me way too much, Bill said no problem when can we come and get it, and got it back to me just before the storm. Don't waste your time and money. Call Bill.

Provided by YP.comBill has fixed my Poulin mower before and did a great job. The other day, I was having trouble with it again, and called him.....about five different times. He was patient and helped me trouble shoot the problem. He is an honest, kind man who understands his machines! I feel very comfortable sending my mower to him, and find him very easy to talk to.

Provided by YP.comBill is an expert at small engine repair. I had a Poulin rider mower with some serious problems that looked like it might not be repairable (so said some others); he was able to repair all in a timely manner for a reasonable cost, and get running perfectly again. Getting harder to find people like Bill that take great pride in their work; I will use him again for any small enginer repair needs. John

Provided by YP.comWe can not THANK Bill enough for his services. I Let my fingers do the walking through the web and only found a place in Charlton for repairs on the Craftsman Snow Blower. Brought it on a Wednesday, called the following Monday and was told they still had a dozen or so in front of it. With a major storm coming Wednesday I was extremely upset so I searched the Yellow Pages & found Bill. I told him the situation and he told me hubby would not be shoveling. Picked up the machine from Charlton Monday afternoon, brough it directly to Bill & we had it home Tuesday evening in time for the major storm. Now from what I (as a woman) understand ...a blown head gasket and valve work is not a minor job but Bill seemed to make it so.
The machine is working just like new and like I said, we can not praise Bill enough. If you need anything done, CALL HIM FIRST !!!!!!
