When I got my Florida drivers license I had a cataract and America's Best, North Port tested my vision and supplied a form stating my vision was good enough to drive, but should be checked in 2 years - this would after the cataract was removed. I received the Notice from Florida that my exam was due, while I was in Maryland. I had my checked at America's Best in Annapolis MD. They were nice professional, and completed the required eye exam form, and I mailed it in. I heard nothing and assumed everything was fine. So I did not bring my copy of the form when I went to Florida for 7 months. In December, I received a letter from Florida DMV stating I had not complied with their request to submit the eye exam, and gave a short time frame to submit the form or my license would be revoked. My copy of the eye exam was at my home in Maryland. I contacted Americas's Best in North Port FL, as I was a customer there as well as America's Best in Annapolis, MD. As my luck would have it the Doctor at North Port was on medical leave so there was no one there to complete another DMV form.

I spoke with Cheryl at America's Best North Port on how to handle my problem. She was very professional, polite and knowledgable, and took charge to contact America's Best in Annapolis to have them send a completed copy of the Florida form for me. She worked with Lilly at America's Best in Annapolis, who went out of her way to download the Florida form, have Dr complete it, and Fax it to Cheryl at America's Best in North Port. All this was done in an expedited and prioritized manner, enabling me to file the eye exam form with the Florida DMV in time to avoid having my license revoked. I am very thankful to all involved. I am a long time customer of America's Best and I am very pleased with the service, eye exams, and glasses. They always give me the time an attention necessary to ensure that my glasses are fitted properly and are the correct prescription. I highly recommend America's Best and am very impressed and thankful for the special effort of Cheryl and Lilly.
