Established in 1975, DuFief Elementary School is based in Gaithersburg, Mass. Its dedicated staff consists of an administrator, teachers, specialists and instructional assistants educate more than 480 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. The school also offers a prekindergarten language class and elementary learning center program. Cultural Arts programs, special events and classroom volunteers are part of an integrated curriculum. Volunteers assist the teaching staff in every subject through a variety of tasks and projects. The school is a part of the Montgomery County Schools. Its students attend Frost Middle School for grades six through eight and then Wootton High School for grades nine through 12.
