Whether you are a sailor at heart, dream of a seafaring life, or simply enjoy hunting for treasures, Unburied Treasures Vendorium provides a unique shopping experience with a personal touch. The company was started back in 2003 and this location opened in 2012. The owners, Phyllis and Marko, have always enjoyed the nautical life, the spirit that it embodies, and the decor influenced by the ocean and tropical island life. (That is evident in the showcases and shelves in their store, Unburied Treasures Vendorium.) Both Phyllis & Marko grew up close to an ocean's shore and have a strong affinity to anything associated with a nautical theme. Dolphins, frogs, mermaids, model ships, seashells, captains & pirates are just a few of the treasures you will find on the shelves in the front room area. The name may be unusual, but the concept of a “Vendorium" is similar to a variety mall, in that not only will the main store display its wares, but spaces and display cases and shelves are leased so that other vendors can present interesting items for sale, giving the shopper an even more diverse shopping experience and contributing to the frequent introduction of new merchandise. Original movie posters, 16MM projectors & accessories (lamps, reels, etc.), life sized celebrity stand ups, handmade jewelry & crafts, vintage furniture, glassware, crystal & pottery, and Coca Cola collectibles are just a sampling of the items found within other areas of this friendly establishment. Our motto is "You enter as a stranger, and leave as a friend!" The owners and staff are always happy to help you unbury the treasures you are seeking and if the items are not readily available in the shop, customers are encouraged to sign the Wish List Book. The store is located at 7305 Boulevard 26 Suite A, North Richland Hills, Texas and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sundays & Mondays Closed.
