We have had several issues with this management over the years but kept giving them extra chances. The last straw was when we had a large project done this past summer that was well over $100,000. We did not have a real contract (it was a one-page document that included what kind of material is needed and how much the material would cost. That was it!) and found out afterwards. The project took 6 months to complete and was supposed to be originally done in 10 weeks, promised from the siding owner. There were weeks that went by with no crew showing up, it was supposed to start in April and did not start until the second week in July, as well as many other issues with him not coming out and overseeing the project. When we gave him a 60-day notice, he quit paying our bills and does not return any emails, which was already hard to do prior to giving our 60-day notice. It took four months and involvement with lawyers and the Better Business Bureau to get our end-of-the-year financials from last year. Once we receive them, we saw money was missing from our reserve and they cannot explain where that money is. The many items that they claim to be on their website is not true. They do not return calls over holidays or after 5 PM. And you can go weeks without getting return calls and have to call them multiple times or send multiple emails. They say they oversee projects with contractors and that is not true. When we first addressed this years ago, things improved but drastically took a turn this past summer.

I recently purchased a condo in an association managed by Renner Management. I own several businesses and this was a downsizing for my wife and I as we transition to a warmer climate and I prepare for retirement. Several of my neighbors are elderly and have physical limitations that affect their mobility, especially during inclement weather. Despite forecasting that clearly called for snow, snow removal was terrible and driveways were rarely plowed creating great hardship for these residents. I ended up calling my facilities manager and had my plow truck come and clear the street and the driveways of these neighbors. Communication with this management company is impossible too as calls are rarely if ever returned. If you're lucky enough to get someone on the phone, they will say anything and promise anything to get you off the phone and there is no follow through. If you are in the market for a condo or an apartment, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere if Renner Management is involved with the property you're considering.
