Steve is a top notch technician and a super nice guy. Impossible fixes? Steve does it immediately. For miracles? you'll have to wait a bit. Hi daughter also super nice and knowledgeable. His wife?....a bitter negative person

Steve is pretty easy to deal with and he knows what he's doing, but his wife doesn't exactly help when it comes to customer service. I typically don't write anything bad about people because saying something nasty doesn't make me any better, but good customer service is good for business. I was ready to spend 2 grand there for an instrument, but Steve's wife was so rude to me (she didn't want to be bothered) I decided to look elsewhere. I found the same brand for a less expensive price in Canada. I'm all for supporting local businesses and I probably wouldn't have bothered looking elsewhere if the customer service was better. If it had been Steve I dealt with, perhaps things would have worked out different. If you know what you want and you're in and out in 2 minutes, she will probably be fine, but if you need assistance or want to try an instrument, you will get a bad attitude. It's obvious she doesn't enjoy working there and probably would prefer that Steve just retire. If not for her, I'd probably give the place 5 stars. They may have only lost a couple of grand because of poor customer service, but that can really add up over time. Also, Steve's wife is not the trumpet teacher. Not sure what that comment was all about, I don't know her.

Exceptional service! We visited Alder Creek to have some minor adjustments made on my daughter's saxophone. We were in and out of the store in under 10 minutes with all necessary repairs complete. We were treated very courteously, and we weren't even charged for the repairs even though we didn't buy or rent the instrument from Alder Creek. This will definitely be our first choice music store from now on!

The woman there who works the counter is snooty and rude. Acts like she doesn't care

about getting her $40 an hr. My daughter really likes her instructor, and he's very nice but gonna start looking for new piano teacher. Bad business

We have had to have instruments repaired five times this school year. Every time we have taken the instruments (clarinet and saxophone) to Alder Creek and the service has been outstanding. Some repairs were done while we waited. One was done the same day. The most extensive repair work took only one day and was ready for pick up the next day. The people were very helpful and responsive. Our music teachers bring all their instruments to Alder Creek for repairs and now we know why. We have another shop about a mile from us but we drive about 20 minutes to Alder Creek for their amazing service. Great music shop with great people.
