I am very unhappy with my recent experience with Perkins. I was looking for a place to repair my leather ottoman that had a rip down the seem. I called ahead of time, and was told that they often repair leather, and it would be no problem. When I dropped it off later that day, he stated that it would be about three weeks and cost $150. After four weeks, I still had not heard from Perkins, so I called them. The same man stated that fixing the ottoman was "not worth their time" so I had the choice of waiting an additional four weeks to see if they could fix it, or pick it up not repaired. Obviously, I am going to go someplace that WANTS my business, but I wish I was told this FOUR WEEKS ago.
