I went to Doctor Catherine Fedako for my first visit as a new patient and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor and I've been to many. She was very rude from the start as she didn't even introduce herself and it went downhill from there. I have several medical conditions and have had to go on disability by doctors’ orders about 8 years ago. The first words out of her mouth were a condescending, so you’re on disability, why is that? Well if she would have at least looked at the half hour of answering and explaining to her nurse she might have had an idea. (The nurse was awesome, I will say) She didn't even know what my one main condition is. She was loud, rude and incompetent. After about 5 minutes she said by your blood pressure is very high and said it was 198/80 which is way higher than I have ever been. She said she thought I should go to emergency room because of that. I said we can continue but after about 5 times of her saying she didn't want to continue and was all flustered I decided to leave. Not that I was too worried about my blood pressure, but I had already decided she was a terrible doctor in all aspects and I just wanted to get out of her office. I did go to the hospital, spent about 7 hours there to find out my blood pressure was normal range 124/78 as soon as I arrived. After several tests and after talking to the doctor we concluded I have no signs of any issue with my blood pressure. He couldn't believe she did not recheck it in her office to verify it was a correct reading. He also said, that is what you expect your general Doctor to handle, order test etc. So, it was a terrible day, it was about $10,000 worth of services and all for nothing. I would never recommend Doctor Catherine Fedako to anyone for a long list of reasons.
