We arrived on time and the sig...

We arrived on time and the sign in was fast. I specified both when I booked our session and when we got there that I wanted Holiday pictures, however, they took us to the front setting (a couple of plain white or black curtains) and the photographer and her assistant started directing us on how to sit, stand and such. After I asked for props so my children (3 and 1 year old) would be entertained (and because they were supposed to be Holiday pictures!) they gave us two chipped plastic ornament balls and did absolutely nothing to try to capture their attention. The "assistant" just stood beside the girl with the camera, holding my son's Elmo without any effort to cooperate with trying to get the kids to see them. After what seemed like an eternity, they told us to wait a few minutes for the pics. I asked how long, since both kids were restless, hungry and needed diaper changes. The girl with the camera just repeated sternly "A few minutes". Well, those few minutes were the better part of one hour, and when they finally called us to see the pictures, she had just taken 11 pics. NONE of them worked. Not one. In one of them you could see a toy (that we brought in, not that they had supplied) that the assistant had placed in front of the camera in a feeble attempt for attention, and in another one you could see the lights from the studio. Needless to say, we left without buying anything. Nobody will answer for the almost 2 hours we spent there, the time we lost trying to organize naps and meals for the children to accommodate the session or my illusions to have my Christmas cards on time. Another store person apologized and said the girl was new and didn't know a lot about photography...so, it's an excuse that you hire unskilled people to do professional pictures?!!? He offered another shooting session, but we were all hungry, tired, frustrated and there was no way that the children would have sat for another picture session. I'm terribly disappointed with this store and the attention we got. I had never heard of bad reviews from them, so I guess we had the bad luck of getting "the new" girl who had no experience to have a session at this busy time of year.
