We had to put our kitty asleep...

We had to put our kitty asleep tonight. It was a tough decision, but it was time. I gave a call around 5, and Lipton answered all of my questions. I called twice more with more questions, and he was more than happy to answer them and was very, very nice. The docs took Murphy back to put the tube in his little fuzzy arm, and when they brought him into the room he was very calm. The doctor, Dr. Steffan, came in and explained everything and took her time making sure we were ready. I left the room but my Dad stayed with and said it was very peaceful.

Blue Pearl made a very hard decision and procedure as calm and nice as they could. I wouldn't hesitate to call them with any pet for anything in the future.

The folks here are friendly. Everyone was very caring and compassionate, especially the nurses every time we brought Enzo back because he had removed his stitches. That staff is so kind and that is such a comfort when you are in an emergency situation. They are so sweet with the animals that come in. It's a relief to know that someone cares about your pets too. EVERYONE at Blue Pearl was wonderful. They were all professional and personable.

Dr. Averill was excellent. I can't say enough about the doctors. They were so patient with all of my questions, called frequently with updates, continuously made themselves available, and gave honest and supportive advice on next steps. The doctors that treated Strummer were very understanding and patient...and more importantly they were very thorough.

Big Scam ; Big Money; Buys Into Your Emotional Roller Coaster:

We took our 12 year old dog in with enlarged heart, The doctor gave us a full explanation with diagrams & pull down pictures , models, really impressive as were their offices. Gave us hope that the dog would live another year,

Gave us 2 prescriptions and a bill for consultation $650.00

Quite high but I new this when I walked into plush offices ,

you and I know we will pay just about any thing to keep our pet alive.

The dog fought not to take the mediation,as one was an actual poison used in moderation to treat this condition

I fought & fought with this dog to take the mediation, never had this problem before, I forced it down, dog looking at me knowing I'm killing her & why I 'm do this;4 days later my dog lays dead.

Called the doctor , really upset and said the poison killed my dog. Chucking (because I made a presumption ) . He says "No it was the other mediation that caused liver failure". We tested her liver before giving her drug showing she could handle it. I'm really sorry "

Most Important !! No where in our consultation,

was there any talk that these medications may kill her first. His answer "I'm sorry I thought I mentioned that

this may happen"

If I would have known this , I would had let dog die naturally, as it was not in pain.

Just advising you to be careful. Each situation merits it own conclusions.
