Provided by YP.comThis is not just another antique store -- in fact, it's a store worth driving to Northfield to see. I kind of hate to let out one of those "best kept secrets" because I love to shop here, but I'm sharing it with other thrift and antique lovers! Carol's collection of over 1,000 TV lamps is unbelievable! Just ask, and she'll light it up for you. Also, the prices throughout the store are very reasonable. So reasonable, it's a little dangerous. For example, I was in their yesterday and saw a danish modern settee in very nice condition for only $38. And I bought a mid-century modern footstool for only $17. And there is even a lower level, chock full of fun. I would say Antiques of Northfield is the 2nd best reason to visit Northfield; the 1st being a tie between eating at Chapati's, hanging out at "The Cow," or attending the Defeat of Jesse James Days. Just make sure to be extra "Minnesota nice" while you're here - it's Northfield etiquette to always let pedestrians have the right of way on Division St, even if they are not on a crosswalk. You'll see.
