Northfield Community Middle School serves students in grades five through eight and is administered by the Northfield School District. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, technology education, art, physical education, music and world languages. The school offers several sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball, track and field, cross country, soccer and field hockey. It provides opportunities for its students to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including newspaper, future engineers, chess, computer repair and service learning clubs; the National Junior Honor Society; peer assistant and yearbook programs; and a student council. In addition, its guidance counselors provide assistance with education, career, personal and social issues. The middle school is located in Northfield, N.J.
