We recently started an aquarium for our 5yr old daughter. The saleswoman seemed knowledgeable, but indeed was not!! We fell in love with a fiddler crab! Asked:

Will he be ok with the other fish... yeah yeah will just fresh water be ok... yeah yeah. So we bring him home. Next morning 3 fish were gone, & one was in his mouth! Several days go by, and poor crab was floating. So disappointed, i then researched (as I should've done first) wow, they need brackish water, special pellets for food, space to get out of h20, salt, on, & on of information I should've been made aware of! So long story short for future newbie pet owners.... dont listen to the sales people, do your research first! Will save alotta tears!
