I had what for me was a large tax liability mess for failure to file tax returns. My focus at the time was on my partner and fighting cancer. I had written letters requesting abatement of penalties although they placed a lien on my business. Because that is public, I immediately received lots of calls from firms wanting to work with me and with most of those calls it left me feeling dismayed. If you are reading these reviews you know what I mean. I avoided dealing with this as long as I could and chose one that had positive reviews and a good BBB rating. In my initial call to Timberline Tax Group they walked me through a clear course to handle my situation and expressed their expectations of us and what we should expect of them. No other firm would explain to me what they could do without signing a contract first! The end of that phone call I knew they could and would work for us. I had people!

Can't say enough positive things about Timberline Tax group and Carisa Andrews. Carisa and her team at Timberline are professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. They have kept me informed with each and every step for the process, how it works and what the next step would be. I joke about them keeping me out of jail but what they have done for me has allowed me to focus on running my business. A tremendous weight has shifted and I can sleep at night!

I had a large business 941 tax liability. The IRS had placed several liens and was garnishing my bank accounts on a regular basis. With great reluctance based on experiences with other companies of the same trade I hired Timberline. Timberline was able to quickly stop the garnishments and negotiated a reasonable payment plan with the IRS. We are still in business today because of Timberline. I’ve never been passed around to a rotating staff. When I call Timberline, I speak with Robert immediately, or he calls me back promptly. He’s a great listener, took the time to understand my situation and explain my options, and manages the multitude of details with a confidence-inspiring mix of compassion and expertise. These guys helped me out tremendously with the IRS. I became disabled and was unable to pay back what was owed. These guys stepped in and proved a hardship and got me into uncollectible status. Huge load off for me and my situation!!! Two thumbs up. I will be forever grateful.
